Intraoral Work

Intraoral work involves addressing the muscles and soft tissues that support the jaw and tending to the bones that support the air sinuses. This plays a crucial role in achieving balance within the neck and head. Many individuals carry tension in their jaw muscles, and they often find themselves pleasantly surprised by the profound relaxation that follows this treatment. Various techniques are employed on the neck, throat, outer jaw, cranium, and within the mouth, with the primary objective of enhancing pain-free mobility, relieving sinus congestion, alleviating emotional or muscular tension, and optimizing the alignment of the jaw, neck, and head. This therapy is especially beneficial for people of all ages undergoing significant dental procedures, suffering from chronic headaches, sinus issues, whiplash, or digestive issues.

To create a more integrative approach to healing, I may incorporate Somatic Experiencing and other modalities into the intraoral work. This combination allows for a deeper exploration of the emotional and physical patterns tied to tension, fostering a more holistic healing experience that addresses both the body and mind.
